Methamphetamine addiction is quickly on the rise and is a dangerous drug that can cause dependency on the drug almost immediately after use. Meth use actually attacks the brain causing it to send gratifying messages to the nervous system which the body won't be able to reproduce without the drug in your system. Life in general just doesn't contain the pleasure that a person perceivably can receive while under the influence of methamphetamine.
Methamphetamines are stimulants that are chemically related to the drug amphetamine. Because it's a stimulant the effects of this drug can seem to be beneficial to the body, which increases the addiction. Some effects feelings of wakefulness, increase physical exertions and decrease appetite. Meth can be used in a variety of ways to produce two separate "high" feelings. To get a quick "rush" users of meth can smoke it or inject it. However, a long term high occurs when you take the drug either orally or through snorting it.
Meth is usually a crystalline substance that is either clear or white which gives it its street name of "crystal" meth. Of course, this color can be different depending upon the quality of the product.
